BANANA BREAD RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

4 ripe bananas

2 eggs

50g of butter

1/5 cup of milk

1 tablespoon of coconut oil (optional)

1 1/5 cups of self-raisin flour

3 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

1 1/5 cup brown sugar

3 tablespoon of chia seeds (optional)

METHOD

Preheat oven to 160 degrees.

Add flour, cinnamon, chia seeds and sugar into your mixing bowl and combined the ingredients together.

Melt the butter and let it cool down, once cooled down whisk the eggs and combined the two ingredients together.

Blend the bananas and milk together and then add the oil, whisked egg and melted butter into the blender - this is optional, I just find it easier for me.

Once blended, slowly pour it into the flour mixture and stir until all the ingredients has combined.

Pour the whole mixture into your oven-proof cake/bread pan. Cook for 45-60 minutes. You can use a skewer or a knife to poke into the banana bread to see if it's ready.

Allow 10 minutes to cool before serving
