Please introduce yourself - I'm Rachella, I'm 23 and I have a beautiful six month old baby girl. Who came up with the name for your baby and why? Me and my partner first chose the name Annabella but it just never seemed right for some reason. I decided to look at other names online and wanted a name that was not only beautiful but had a beautiful meaning. The minute I said the name Arabella out loud I knew it was perfect. It's meaning is "yielding to prayer " which is truly beautiful. Did you have a good pregnancy? I had terrible sickness the whole way through my pregnancy but I loved every minute of being pregnant I miss it so much now. Where were you and what was your first reaction when you found out you were pregnant? I was at my partners mums house when I found out I was pregnant and it came as a huge shock as we were not trying for a baby. I was in shock for about two weeks and did four pregnancy tests in total as I just could not believe it. I had an early scan at 8 weeks pregnant where I first herd Arabella's heart beat and it finally seemed real. I was overjoyed and excited. What has changed the most since becoming a mother? The biggest change that I've noticed the most is how much you worry once you become a mother. Not about anything major but just about the little things like " is she warm enough? " or " has she eaten enough?" What were your first thoughts when you saw your baby for the first time? The firs time I saw Arabella I just couldn't believe that she was really here and how beautiful she was. Has your lifestyle change drastically after having your baby? My lifestyle hasn't changed as much as I thought it would, the main difference is being at home everyday with my baby girl instead of at work. What do you miss the most before becoming a mother? The only thing I really miss is being able to take a long relaxing bath when ever I want or being able to go to sleep when ever I want as now everything revolves around Arabella. What do you love about being a mother? I love how being a mother allows you to experience a new and the most unconditional type of love. Seeing Arabella smile is the best part of everyday. Any advice for soon to be mothers or already mothers? The only advise I would pass on is not to put too much pressure on yourself. Nobody is perfect and not everything will go as you've planned but that's ok. Just take every day as it comes and know that you are doing the best you can.
