MUMS VS MUMS

For quite some time now, I have been feeling bothered by some mothers comparing stay at home mothers to working mothers. I, myself am a stay at home mum and I love it. I know some mums are in different situations, and have to go to work. Me choosing to be a stay at home mum doesn't mean I am lazy, doesn't mean I am lounging around watching Netflix all day and it surely doesn't mean I sleep all day.

I wake up from 5am to 6am every morning, and even when I'm asleep I am still mentally awake and some days I feel a bit loopy (thank god for coffee to keep me sane). I never have the chance to sit down and relax. I am constantly doing something, I feel like I am constantly breastfeeding or changing dirty diapers. Even when my kids are napping, I am catching up on house work and end of the day my whole body aches. Before I know it my kids are in school, and all the sudden their friends and opposite sex becomes a priority. So I am in no rush in going back to work, I am enjoying every moment I have with my kids and would never change it for the world. I know it is all worth it in the end.
