BREASTMILK OR FORMULA?

Breastmilk or formula? The two things that can divide mothers and soon to be mothers. Every day I see post about breastfeeding and formula feeding. I see mothers having disagreements with each other, because one mother believes which is better. To me it is almost like telling someone how they should and shouldn't raise their child.

You don't know what that mothers going through. You don't know if she's struggling to breastfeed. You don't know if that mother can't afford formula. You don't know what condition of that mothers child is in. Sometimes breastmilk is the better option and sometimes formula is the better option. Mothers need to stop disagreeing with each other because of their decisions they make. End of the day it is about the kids, and if their kids are happy and healthy than you don't have the rights to come in and tell that mother otherwise. Mothers needs to stop bashing each other up with words, and come together and support each other.

When I was pregnant with my son, at the time I wasn't able to afford formula and therefore it was never an option for me. I am currently breastfeeding my 4 month old daughter, and I have been breastfeeding my 20 month old from birth. Because I exclusively breastfeed, do I think I am better than other mums? No. Do I think formula feeding is bad? No. Do I breastfeed because I think it is whats best for my kids? Yes. My kids reject the bottle/formula. There are days where I wish my kids were formula fed because breastfeeding can get extremely exhausting.
